I want to give a special Thank You to @yalenewhavenhealth and the Connecticut Governor’s office. The Connecticut Governor’s office presented @hopeysheartfoundation a proclamation declaring September 6th as “Hopey’s Heart Day.” To my surprise, in collaboration with @connecticutsun , @hopeysheartfoundation was also rewarded a donation of $20,000 from @yalenewhavenhealth to reach its goal of donating 500 AEDS since starting in April 2013 . My heart is full! Hopey’s Heart Foundation first AED placed was in Connecticut and I’m excited to announce its 500th will be placed in the state of Connecticut.
