Dr. William Hays, M.D., who retired from private practice last fall, will throw out the first pitch on "Health Care Heroes Night" at the COLT WORLD SERIES tonight (Monday) before the 8 p.m. game. Dr. Hays was instrumental in bringing professional baseball to Southern Illinois and will be in the stadium he helped provide by funding early studies on the project and assembling the Southern Illinois Baseball Group.
