Today’s #MedalMonday is dedicated to powell_shannon who crushed her first marathon in Paris yesterday, finishing strong in 4h 32mins, even with all the selfies she took along the way! 🤳🏽 What made her journey even more impressive was her commitment through adversity—despite dealing with an injury during training, Shannon stayed consistent with her rehab, mobility work, stretching, and cross-training. It was inspiring to watch her approach every challenge with patience, positivity, and determination—never losing sight of her goal, even when things got tough. That mental strength played a huge role in getting her across that finish line.
