Our first campaign photoshoot was in 2018, prior to launching our Kickstarter campaign. We had just completed the cfda Elaine Gold Launch Pad accelerator. It was photographed by my then roommate rebeccalaurastyle at a friends brownstone in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. We couldn’t afford models so we invited a bunch of friends over to model our prototypes and enticed them with snacks from Trader Joe’s and bevs. It was a day and energy I’ll never forget & the foundation of building a brand through community.
