Today for National Girls & Women in Sports Day, we celebrate the passion, leadership, and resilience of our Gryphon women coaches, staff and student-athletes as they inspire our next generation of girls and women in sports here in our community and with our Jr Gryphons. Through our She’s Got Game initiative, we’re committed to creating more opportunities for women and girls in sport in our community and beyond by building confidence, leadership, and belonging both on and off the field of play. From grassroots experiences to varsity competition, we’re working alongside the University of Guelph, the OUA, and U SPORTS to grow a more inclusive future with stronger gender balance across sport.
