This is why blocks are the hardest play to shoot⬇️ This was a straight one-on-one drive to the basket with under 10 seconds left in the half — and that’s what makes blocks so hard to film. There’s no rotation or help coming. It’s all about reading: • the ball handler’s speed • the defender’s timing • when the shot is actually going up A block can happen or turn into a finish at the rim in a split second. Shooting from the stands helps because that downward angle makes it easier to track both the driver and defender at the same time, instead of guessing where the play will end up.
