Happy 103rd birthday (Jan. 24) to Harold Searcy, Jewell Class of 1950! 🎂 🇺🇸 The Navy pilot and WWII veteran was honored Sunday at DearbornChristianChurch by family, friends and Pastor Elizabeth Buckner, a 1999 alumna. After serving in the Navy, Harold returned to The Hill to earn a history degree, play basketball, and build a remarkable life. He retired as a manager with TWA and a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Naval Reserves. His story now lives on in a new biography by Milt Toratti. 📷 KatieSearcy #Jewellproud #WWIILegacy
