HAPPY NATIONAL WOMEN AND GIRLS IN SPORTS DAY! + back story, i was covering all things kicks at WNBA All Star in 2019, it was my first official in person gig. & like 2 mins before this, dukep34 was like “you’re gonna interview kobe, right now, 2-3 questions, get in and out”. my girl oflynnstone got in on the official camera, and my girl bybriasimone caught this bts. i was soooo nervous, and i wasn’t trying to bother him & gigi - hence me in the beginning like “sorry, sorry”. but yeah, this is one of my most prized possessions when it comes to videos, and i will forever remember and cherish this moment. this trip, this moment, this experience was the start of it all for me in this special space. so cheers to all the incredible women i’ve met, the mentors & friends i now have because of this journey, happy national women and girls in sports day! #NWGSD
