When people ask me why I wanted to start this new 🎙️project with @Sarah Turney, my answer is this: At a young age, I learned that someone I was VERY close to, my grandma, killed her own mom. It was very shocking to me and at 12 years old, I couldn’t process that information. I only had 2 news articles to go off of (which didn’t say much by the way) and so into adulthood I was left with SO many questions. Why did she do this? How? What happened after? How could this have been handled differently? And at age 22, I posted a 15 second TikTok giving the basic details of what my grandma did, and by complete surprise, it went viral. I then had SO many people asking me questions that I honestly didn’t have the answers to as no one in my family was willing to talk about that part of their lives.
