According to an interview with Compas on the Beat, Big E has confirmed that he considers himself retired from in-ring competition.
The former WWE Champion has been sidelined since March 2022 after suffering a broken neck. While he remains a fixture on WWE Premium Live Event pre-show panels, he addressed his future during Super Bowl Radio Row. “I'm content,” Big E stated. “You know, in wrestling they always say 'never say never.' But right now I'm retired, and that for me is it. So I'm focused on other things right now.”
Big E also discussed his enjoyment of his new broadcasting role, noting it has prepared him for future opportunities. He is set to host a new YouTube series focused on the NFL Draft starting February 12.
