LIONS EARN CIF-SS OPEN DIVISION BERTH: The jserra.girlssoccer team will kickoff the postseason amongst the top teams in the CIF Southern Section. The CIF-SS released its’ 2026 Girls Soccer playoff brackets on Saturday, and the Lions were selected into the eight team Open Division bracket. JSerra finished the regular season with an overall record of 7-3-3 (finishing second in the Trinity League by one point) and earned the seventh seed in the Open Division. JSerra will open with a home & away battle with the second-seeded Redondo Union Sea Hawks. The Lions will play host the Sea Hawks in the first round on Thursday, February 12th and then travel to Redondo Union for a second-round match on Saturday, February 14th The Sea Hawks finished the season 15-1-2 and were champions of the Bay League. #lionnation #jserragirlssoccer #jserraathletics
