Dramatic aerial footage shows much of the town of Alcacer do Sal in southern Portugal underwater after the nearby river Sado burst its banks during heavy rain.
Portugal and Spain have been battered by several huge winter storms since 2026 which have flooded towns, destroyed homes and left several dead.
