Charli is playing what?! 😱 Nearly a year after Charli XCX first announced her collaboration with Japanese horror director Takashi Miike, new details about the project have emerged. 👀 According to Variety, the story follows three friends whose trip to Kyoto turns dark when Charli’s character becomes possessed by a tortured spirit. The untitled film will star Charli alongside Milly Alcock, Norman Reedus, Sho Kasamatsu, and Kiko Mizuhara. ➡️ Produced by Charli’s company Studio365, the film is now heading to the European Film Market in Berlin, with The Veterans and CAA Media Finance handling international sales. The project builds on Charli’s expanding screen career, following ‘The Moment’ and her upcoming role in Olivia Wilde’s ‘I Want Your Sex’, as well as earlier appearances in ‘Erupcja’ and ‘100 Nights of Hero’.
