Two dozen donors are doing heavy lifting for Tommy Tuberville’s campaign for governor, with each of them contributing at least $100,000. Doug Jones, who lost his U.S. Senate seat to Tuberville in 2020 and is the frontrunner in the Democratic primary for governor, hasn’t recorded a single six-figure donor or raised any funds from businesses since he entered the race in November.
