Would you visit this city? 🇬🇹 San Juan La Laguna is located on the edge of Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, one of 10+ settlements. It’s often overlooked in favor of Panajachel (the largest) and San Pedro (a favorite for budget travelers) and San Marcos (which has been completely gentrified by yoga studios and organic/“health” markets 🤢). You’ll hardly find any tourists in San Juan; it retains much more local character and flavor. It’s one of those places where you can just point your camera and come away with a beautiful photo.
