New IMLCA Initiative and Inaugural Humanitarian Award Program Honoring Liam Gleason Announced for 2026 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Season - IMLCA Coaches across all three divisions will unite to honor Coach Gleason during this coming weekend’s games wearing LG lapel pins. While paying tribute to Liam, the initiative also aims to spread awareness and resources for organ donation. - The Liam Gleason Humanitarian Award, established January 2026, will recognize 77 Division I Men’s Lacrosse Student Athletes at the conclusion of the season. Voted on by players, coaches, and staff, this honor is awarded to the individual of each program who exemplifies Liam’s spirit of leadership, support for teammates, sportsmanship, and community involvement.
