Five years ago, I had a Super Bowl commercial with Toyota and every year, I share it to remind myself how unreal this moment was. What people saw was seconds on a screen. What they didn’t see were the 19 years behind it. The early morning practices. Training when no one was watching. The sacrifices, the doubt, the choice to keep showing up anyway. Over and over again. Toyota believed in me and that belief met nearly two decades of perseverance.
