Among the first things Trump did in office was enter executive orders rewriting the 14th Amendment and making English the official language of the US. His most recent tirades against the Super Bowl Halftime show make it clear that he is actively attempting to create a second class of citizens in the US and CODIFY what it means to be a “first class” American. Disturbingly, SCOTUS has agreed to take this up on appeal, though it could have elected simply to uphold the lower courts’ rulings that have held Trump’s EO as unconstitutional.
