Abigail Peterson (Class 1A, 100 pounds) came into her freshman season with expectations as high as could be for somebody who had never wrestled a high school match before. But she took care of business despite the pressure. Only three of her matches lasted longer than two minutes, two of which came against out-of-state opponents at the Dan Gable Donnybrook and the last in the state finals against Wilton's Audrey Cummings.
