The Daily Orange photographed the “No Kings” protests nationwide through the lenses of college student journalists. In Syracuse, over 5,000 demonstrators gathered to condemn President Donald Trump’s use of executive power. The protest was one of thousands of “No Kings” events across the U.S. in a multi-city rejection of the president’s attempts to slash the federal government and enact mass immigration enforcement operations. The D.O. captured demonstrators at the sites of multiple “No Kings” protests, including New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles, where immigration raids and a federal military presence sparked controversy last week.
