Yasin Willis bulldozed anybody who tried tackling him as a kid. It wasn’t long into life he earned the moniker “Night Train,” foreshadowing the hard-nosed grit Willis displayed for three touchdowns in Syracuse’s Week 1 opener.
He gained such notoriety in North Jersey growing up that players and coaches didn’t know Willis’s real name — they just called him “Train.” He leads SU’s power run game in 2025.
“I think he just liked to hurt people when he was young,” said his youth coach, Anwar Suggs. “Give him a football and he’d be mean and tough.”
