There’s constant attention on freshman guard Kiyan Anthony when he walks outside. But his teammates insist they wouldn’t think he’s the son of Syracuse royalty Carmelo Anthony by how he carries himself.
Kiyan says he's not chasing his father's legacy. He's here to snap Syracuse’s four-year March Madness drought and restore the “Orange Standard” his father helped build by winning the national title for Syracuse in 2003.
“Thankfully, he’s ready,” head coach Adrian Autry said of Kiyan. “He just has to continue to get better, like most freshmen.”
