On the basketball courts at New York City’s Riverside Church, Syracuse head coach Adrian “Red” Autry saw Monmouth assistant Brian Reese. He pointed out Reese’s size 10 feet, which didn’t prohibit Reese from becoming Autry’s first teammate who could dunk. The two became one of NYC's most commanding basketball duos for Riverside Church’s AAU squad before attending St. Nicholas of Tolentine High School. Now, the pair’s paths will reconvene Tuesday night when Syracuse takes on Monmouth at the JMA Wireless Dome. “Wherever Red played, I played. He was from Harlem. I was from the Bronx. But I played where he played,” Reese said. Click the link in our bio to learn more. Photographs by @Lj.lenns (left) and courtesy of Monmouth Athletics (right).
