William Kyle III gave Syracuse men’s basketball’s defense a new and improved identity. As one of the top big men in multiple EvanMiya measurements, the senior made his mark as a premier shot blocker in the ACC.⁠ ⁠ A former South Dakota State and UCLA player, Kyle didn’t know where he wanted to spend his final collegiate season. He was pinned at the bottom of the Bruins’ rotation, without a start in the 2024-25 season.
