After a narrow loss to Virginia Tech Wednesday, Syracuse men’s basketball fell 85-76 to Miami Saturday. SU trailed by as much as 13 and never led en route to its third-straight loss. Three games match the Orange’s longest losing streak this season. Syracuse had five double-digit scorers, but nobody tallied more than 15 points in the loss. Donnie Freeman rebounded from a 3-for-14 showing Wednesday with a team-high 14, but it wasn’t enough. J.J. Starling’s inconsistencies continued, as he shot just 3-of-10. Malik Reneau paced the Hurricanes with 20 points on an efficient 8-of-12 clip. Reaneau had seven turnovers, but his shooting did enough to catapult Miami to a win. Click the link in our bio to learn more. Photographs by @LJ.Lenns.
