After a promising start to the season, Syracuse has been derailed by Steve Angeli’s Achilles tear, dropping two straight games for the first time under head coach Fran Brown. Rickie Collins’ high interception rate is among the worst of any FBS quarterback, while the Orange pass rush has struggled to get sacks. Despite SU’s missteps, Dan Villari has thrived as the team’s top tight end, as his 311 receiving yards and 27 receptions both rank fourth among all FBS tight ends. Johntay Cook has also impressed as a deep ball threat for the Orange. Swipe through to read defining stats from the season, or click the link in our bio for more information.
