It’s almost Valentine’s Day, so we’re sharing a love story that began the most Sofar way possible. ❤️ “We met at a music and poetry event in November 2015, where a connection through art quickly turned into something more. We made it official a few months later, moved from St. Louis to Portland, and built a life marked by moments that always seemed to line up just right. I chose June 17, 2023 to propose, and we returned to where it all started. Leading up to the moment, I planned a series of experiences (salsa class, archery, airplane ride, dinner pictured) rooted in joy and romance. And then, at a Sofar Sounds show at The Old Church in Portland, everything came full circle. Just before the third act, I stepped up with a poem that turned into a proposal.
