Favourite frames from a wet one #ENGvWAL Weird video to post - I don’t really expect many people to watch it. It starts slow. It’s 16x9. It doesn’t really provide any value (except…hopefully looking nice?) It’s against everything people post to social these days, but I’ve started to realise all those reasons people post aren’t the reason I started to post. I like sharing things like this - I could certainly do better with this, a pass of sound design, maybe some extra elements to bring some moments of the story together…but this is the sort of stuff social used to be. Before it was about hooks. Or attention retention. Or the playing a game for views. Strategy over craft. And hey, I’m as to blame as anyone. That’s how I make my money, selling strategy alongside the craft. But I’m kinda getting tired of it. And feel other people are as well. So I’m going to go back to make more of what I want to make, knowing it likely won’t see the views - or get the algo push into your feed...
