If you’re struggling to hire, it’s probably not your interview.
It’s your volume.
Most business owners think recruiting is about “finding the right person.”
In reality, recruiting is a numbers game you need to engineer.
Here’s the math we see consistently:
For every 1 sales rep who actually shows up to onboarding, you need 50–100 applications.
Out of 100 applicants, about 80% should be screened out immediately.
Only 20% are worth a real recruiting process.
If your process is solid, maybe 2 candidates say yes.
And typically, only 1 actually signs and starts Monday.
That means if you want to hire 3 reps this quarter, you don’t need “better interviews.”
You need 300 qualified applications.
Do this today: set a weekly target for inbound applicants (not interviews). If your hiring goal is 1 rep/month, your target is 25 applicants/week.
If you want the full recruiting funnel breakdown, we cover it in our free weekly webinar — Thursdays at 11am MST / 1pm EST.
