When should you cut and bulk? 🚶🏻‍➡️→🫄🏻 If you want to optimise your progress to build muscle as quickly as possible, your goal should be to spend as much time as possible in a surplus and as little time as possible in a deficit. Here’s the best way to do it: 1. Get down to a baseline of 10-12% body fat 2. Look to gain anywhere between 0-200g per week 3. Run this for as long as possible until you get too uncomfortable 4. Run a short minicut of 6-12 weeks to get back down to your baseline 5. Repeat ⚠️ The main focus should be on your training and progression. Ideally you don’t have to push for 200g gain per week if you’re still progressing, however, not a lot of people can gauge when they truly plateau, so the range given above is easier to follow.
