🎉 PJI turns 10 today! 🎉 Over the past decade, we’ve celebrated many milestones. Here’s a glimpse of achievements across the PJI community since 2016: - PJI staff member and program alumnus Tyrone Walker earned his bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies, becoming our first program participant to graduate from Georgetown. - Thirteen wrongfully convicted individuals returned home to their families and communities through the work of our Making an Exoneree students and staff. - The Bachelor of Liberal Arts program launched, with its first graduating class expected later this year. - The Prison Scholars Program celebrated two individuals who became the first incarcerated people to serve as commissioners of an Advisory Neighborhood Commission in Ward 7. - The MORCA-Georgetown Paralegal Program and Georgetown Pivot Program have graduated more than 150 students, many going on to start businesses or build careers in law and other ...
