Alton Towers won't allow some people with autism, ADHD and anxiety to use their disability queuing system this February half-term. Neurodivergent people can become overwhelmed when surrounded by large numbers of people, which can bring on sensory overload or panic attacks. The park operator Merlin Entertainments said the number of people requesting the pass has increased, adding that disabled visitors have said the system "simply isn't working for them".
