At just 21, Vancouver-based photographer Isami Kiyooka (isami_kiyooka) has already carved out a rare spot in the world of snowboarding photography. He picked up his first Canon at 15, and by 19 he’d gone all-in on photography, taking buses to contests, crashing on floors, and chasing every chance to shoot. That dedication now has him on the road ten months a year, working with brands like Red Bull, Adidas, Monster, Burton, and most consistently, the U.S. Snowboard Team—one of the only full-time national team photographer roles in the world.
