NASCAR night at HPU was a full-oval moment for me. What started as a personal project turned into something much bigger and it evolved into the official giveaway for HPU’s NASCAR-themed night. Collaborating with the HPU Athletics marketing department and seeing that idea level up into a real piece for fans was surreal. NASCAR art has been a huge influence on my style for a while now, especially the work of luecreative , and that world of bold typography, motion, and storytelling definitely shaped how I approached this design. Seeing the final piece come to life reminded me why I love this work: it’s not just an idea, or sketches on a screen, it’s part of the fan experience, and I can’t wait to see this shirt rocked around campus.
