Canada was reeling on Wednesday, a day after a shooter killed eight people in a remote town in northeastern British Columbia. The police said the suspect, an 18-year-old, died of a self-inflicted injury. Earlier, the authorities had given a mistaken death toll of 10 people and said at least 25 people were wounded. But the police clarified on Wednesday that while 25 people were assessed for possible injuries, the majority were not physically hurt.
