Last night was one of those moments that reminds you how parenthood can take you right back to the rawest places of your heart. Oscar split his chin and needed stitches, so we ended up back at the hospital.. a place that still carries so much emotion for me as a NICU mom. I stayed calm for him, which I’m really proud of, but walking through those halls I know all too well again brought a flood of memories The smells, the sounds, the way my heart used to race every time a monitor beeped.. It’s amazing how one place can hold both the deepest fear and the biggest gratitude. Oscar did great.
