Wrong ID. Loaded Gun. Arrested. #CanyonCountry On Monday afternoon, a SCV Sheriff’s deputy patrolling on Soledad Canyon Road conducted a traffic stop for vehicle code violations. During the stop, the driver, an adult male, provided a driver’s license upon request. The deputy immediately noticed the one driving the vehicle did not match the photo on the license. The driver did have his own driver’s license inside the vehicle-however, it was suspended. The deputy discovered the driver was in possession of a loaded firearm and ammunition and that he also had prior felony weapons convictions. The 35-year-old man from Riverside was arrested on felony charges of convicted felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, as well as misdemeanor charges of providing false identification to a peace officer and driving with a suspended license. The suspect was transported to the SCV Sheriff’s Station jail for booking and remains in custody on no bail. #LASD #SCV
