DISCUSSION: Who would you like to see be the Florida State Seminoles’ starting quarterback for the 2026 season? Florida State is returning redshirt freshman Kevin Sperry and added true freshman Jaden O’Neal and JUCO Malachi Marshall, then acquired two transfers via the portal with Auburn’s Ashton Daniels and Lafayette’s Dean DeNobile. My heart is telling me Kevin Sperry since he has built continuity with the roster since he has been on campus for a year already, but my mind is pointing in the direction of Ashton Daniels since the Seminoles have went to the transfer portal each of the last two years (DJ Uiagalelei and Thomas Castellanos). I get the hype centered around JUCO option Malachi Marshall, but he will be a summer enrollee that will have to catch on to the offense quickly to be in line to start.
