Watching football_phenoms compete was a reminder of exactly why we created this tournament. These athletes stepped into a division above their grade level, faced real adversity, and never once backed down. They played with confidence, toughness, and heart from the opening snap to the final whistle. That is what this event is about. Opportunity, growth, and rising to the moment. The championship game delivered everything you hope for as a tournament organizer. High energy, big plays, momentum swings, and athletes giving everything they had. Seeing them battle through it and come out on top was special. We’ve never see a middle school team win a high school division, ever! We are incredibly proud of these young ladies, grateful to the coaches who prepared them, and thankful to the families who continue to support and believe in girls flag football.
