Last week, our men made time to go visit Edison Jr. High and Washington Jr. High. We are so proud of the way they stepped up to make a difference in our community and this is just the beginning! On Thursday, we spent time with two AVID classes, discussing the work we’ve put in to develop the skills to be successful both now and long after the ball stops bouncing, the recruitment process, what a “day in the life” at Augustana looks like and a slew of other topics as well. On Friday, we spent time at the end of quarter celebrations at each school, playing some hoops with the kids as they got ready for spring break!
