It might’ve been hundreds of miles north of their usual stomping grounds, but that didn’t discourage the Chivas and America faithful to turn up at the mythical Bobby Dodd in Atlanta. You could’ve sworn you were at the Azteca or Estadio Akron. Still, the party was fairly one-sided. Miguel Layún and a ragtag squad of talented youth players had no trouble picking off ‘El Rebaño’ one by one. In the end, it was a solid 3-1 victory for Club America, who dazzled at times during the contest.
