Ariela Barer, who is of Mexican-Jewish descent and is known for her roles in “The Last of Us” and “How to Blow Up a Pipeline,” has joined the cast of A24’s “Deep Cuts,” which is based on Holly Brickey’s novel of the same name and follows two twenty-somethings as they navigate love, life, belonging, and adulthood.
