February 10th is National Umbrella Day! While we haven’t seen much in a while, rain is in the forecast for Sacramento, California. For today, Howard letterpress printed an image from an electrotype (copy of a woodcut) that was made roughly 80-90 year ago from the Bill Gaylord Collection. The image depicts an individual carrying an umbrella with the word “PREPARE” above him. When you leave your home today, be prepared and bring an umbrella for the upcoming change in weather.
