#RUMOR: Matt Rhule is being considered a coaching replacement at Penn State. Now let’s start things off by saying I do not think Coach Rhule leaves. Lots of people speculating and lots of people assuming the worst. I just don’t think it makes any logical sense for him to leave. The facts: Yes, Coach Rhule went to Penn State as a player, and his former AD from Temple is currently the AD at Penn State. But Rhule has something great going on here his wife owns a business here in Lincoln and his son attends UNL and his daughters are growing up in Lincoln. Rhule has said he loves it here and it’s not just about football either. The money: Rhule is getting paid roughly the same amount as James Franklin was. Penn State just paid Franklins buyout which was $50 million dollars. If Penn State were to hire Rhule they would have to pay his buyout as well which is around $50 million as well.
