Recently, I was honored to be selected for the mgproject Marcus Graham Project iCR8 Sports Marketing Workshop, held in partnership with hennessyus and the atlhawks. During the six-day workshop, our team worked together on a partnership brief. We created a campaign rooted in culture that links the excitement of the arena with community and digital engagement. If I were told when this year started that I'd be part of an incredible opportunity like this, I would've doubted the idea. To be honest, even after my acceptance into the cohort, I kind of did. I didn't have the money to get to Atlanta and stay there for the duration of the workshop. But God is ALWAYS on time, and someone truly dear to me drove me from College Park, MD, to Atlanta the day before to guarantee I did not miss this opportunity.
