Silent Tactic is now tied at the top of the Kentucky Derby leaderboard after a strong win in the Feb. 6 Southwest Stakes (G2) The son of Tacitus established himself as the clear winner with a strong charging finish in the 1 1/16-mile race under Cristian Torres. Trained by Mark Casse and owned by John Oxley, Silent Tactic earned 20 points towards the Road to the Kentucky Derby with this win; he now sits tied with Renegade with 25 points.
