Today (10 February) marks the birthday of American actress Stephanie Beatriz, widely known for her iconic role as Detective Rosa Diaz in ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’. Beatriz’s character Rosa came out as bisexual, first to Detective Charles Boyle, played by Joe Lo Truglio, in the 9th episode of Season Five titled ’99’. In the next episode, ‘Game Night’, she came out to the entire squad and, furthermore, her parents who ultimately accepted her as she is.
