The Thousand Oaks Police Department Community Resource Unit, Directed Enforcement Unit, Motor Deputies, and Traffic Unit recently partnered to address ongoing e-bike concerns throughout the Conejo Valley. Working closely with local community partners, deputies conducted focused enforcement efforts to promote legal, responsible riding and enhance overall public safety. This coordinated operation helps keep our parks, roads, trails, and neighborhoods safe for pedestrians, cyclists, motorists, and families. Riders operating illegal pocket bikes, non-street-legal e-bikes, and electric dirt bikes were cited, and their vehicles were impounded in accordance with applicable laws.
