For a few weeks while in isolation, many of us did not watch any baseball or softball. Maybe it was a week or few days ago, that some of us began watching replays of Babe Ruth Baseball, Cal Ripken Baseball and Babe Ruth Softball games, and many of us were surprised by our reactions. We were transfixed, falling in love with the games of baseball and softball all over again. The camaraderie of the players, the competitiveness of the game, the life lessons learned, and the way families and fans came together to support our players has brought some of us back to all the reasons we love Babe Ruth League and the many valuable participation benefits it provides our kids. It is making us long to get back out on the field and participate in these beloved games. Simple, yet fun and educational, games that anyone can pick up and play.
