What a sweet and simple thing to make for Valentines Day❤️ . . Tomato Puff Pastry Heart Tart❤️ . . This couldn’t be more simple to do either! Preheat oven to 425F. Line a baking sheet with parchment. On a floured surface, roll out a piece of puff pastry. With a sharp knife, cut a heart shape out of the dough. Place the heart on the baking sheet. Mince up 2 garlic cloves and mix with a couple tbls of olive oil. Brush the garlic oil on the dough. Slice some tomatoes thin and lay on tart, covering dough completely. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden. Sprinkle with some chili flakes and I drizzled a little balsamic glaze on top. Would also be great with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan or drizzle of Pesto. You can also spread a thin layer of Boursin cheese on the pastry and then top with the tomatoes . . . . . #puffpastryrecipes #puffpastry #valentinesfood
